It Halloween, and I was in the mood to paint something a little spoooky.
Say hello to 'Mr Pipes'.
In 1992, the BBC broadcast a one-off drama for Halloween entitled 'Ghostwatch'. It was a fictional 'live broadcast' from what was supposedly a haunted house (something akin to 'Most Haunted' or 'Ghosthunters' ), where a poltergeist had been terrorizing a family. It starred real-life TV personalities Michael Parkinson, Sarah Greene and Craig Charles. The ghost's presence was always foreshadowed by a banging noise in the house's central heating system, hence the name "Mr Pipes".
This show was scary as hell! Seriously, the BBC has been banned from broadcasting it ever since it first aired. IT *IS* THAT SCARY!!!

Great rendition of Raymond Tunstall aka Pipes. I watched it when it first aired and bought the dvd a few years ago. Still scares me. Makes me think there's someone in my kitchen.
